Dans le cadre de la mission 2000 en France, Jean-Pierre RAYNAUD a conçu un projet artistique pour La Source ( créée par Gérard GAROUSTE et Christian GOTTI) qui intègre pour la première fois une participation extérieure: celle de 2000 jeunes de Haute Normandie. Ce film de 26 minutes retrace l'histoire de cette oeuvre. La réalisation d'un authentique mur courbe dans l'espace de 3,5 m de haut, recouvert de carreaux de céramique blanche de 15 x 15 sur lesquels 836 jeunes de La Source et de Haute-Normandie peuvent signaler leur passage grâce à la trace laissée sur chacun de ces carreaux. «Je leur offre la possibilité d'inscrire ainsi leur trace par un si gne personnel qui sera fixé. Within the frame-work of the French mission for the year 2000, Jean-Pierre RAYNAUD has created an artistic project for La Source (association founded by Gérard GAROUSTE and Christian GOTTI to establish contact in rural districts between artists and children from difficult homes). 2000 young people were involved in this project. Our film tells the story of this work; the construction of an open-ended curved wall 3.5 m. high, covered with 15x15 cm white tiles. 836 young people from La Source and Haute-Normandie left their mark on each of these tiles testifying to their involvment.
