De l'enfance, ils ont le goût du jeu, la clarté du regard, la fraîcheur. De la guerre, ils ont l'expérience de la souffrance, de l'approche de la mort... une maturité impressionnante. Blessés à Sarajevo, ils sont accueillis en France pour guérir. Ils ont entre 6 et 15 ans. Ils prennent la parole, mais aussi l'image. Il y a cette petite caméra qu'ils manient avec un humour corrosif. Il y a ces photos de la guerre, de l'hôpital... qu'ils commentent. Il y a une petite VIDtournée par l'un des pères dans Sarajevo assiégée. Musulmans, Croates, Serbes, ils témoignent d'une vie qui continue, d'une Bosnie qui s'obstine. |

From their chilhood they have retained playfulness, keenness of eye, freshness and enthusiasm. From the war they've learnt suffering and death. They are astonishingly mature. Wounded in Sarajevo, they've been welcomed in France for their recovery. Aged between 6 and 15 they express themselves through words and pictures with a small video camera which they handle with corrosive humour, commenting war photos and hospitals. As a testimony of the tragedy the film includes a short vidéo that was filmed by the father of one of the boys back in besieged Sarajevo. Muslims, Croats, Serbs - each gives evidence of an on-going life, of an obstinate Bosnia. |
