En juillet 1997, le site Moulinex de Mamers dans la Sarthe ferme ses portes. Nicole, Pascale, Josianne, Maurice et Dominique ont tous travaillé plus de 20 ans dans l'usine. Du jour au lendemain tout bascule. Les uns et les autres doivent faire face à des situations qu'ils ne connaissent pas : chômage, reclassement, mutation. Leur innocence est leur force. Dans leurs nouveaux parcours, tous. les cinq ont des exigences et ils refusent les «On ne peut rien y faire». |
In July 1997 the Moulinex centre at Mamers in the Sarthe closes down. Nicole, Pascale, Josianne, Maurice and Dominique have been working in the factory for more than twenty years. From one day to the next their lives change. They all find themselves confronted with situations they have never dealt with before: unemployment, being reclassified and transfered. Their strength lies in their innocence. They all five have certain standards on their new paths and they refuse to accept «There's nothing we can do». |
